QHA Hotel Care is a very special annual project, aimed at raising much-needed funds for medical research conducted in Queensland, as well as helping our regional hospitals buy additional equipment for patient care.
The QHA, in partnership with the PA Research Foundation and Mater Foundation,
encourages hotels across Queensland to participate in the annual QHA Hotel Care
campaign. It’s a simple and fun way for hotels to fundraise for a good cause.
Participating in QHA Hotel Care is as simple as placing a donation in boxes on the counters at your local
of bars and bottle shops.
In 2011, more than 250 Queensland hotels participated in the campaign, raising an
impressive $170,000 for research. Over the past six years, QHA Hotel Care has raised
more than $1,215,000 for medical research and regional hospitals.
The PA Research Foundation would like to thank QHA Hotel Care 2011, staff and patrons for their wonderful support over throughout 2011. Funds will go to research studies ranging from Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiology, Nutrition, Nursing, Kidney and Liver Disease.
