Call for Applications

• PAH Private Practice Trust Fund Research Support Grants

  The PAH Private Practice Trust Fund has established a Research Support Grant Scheme with funding available from 2010 inclusive. These grants will be administered through the PA Research Foundation and allocation of the available funds will be undertaken by the PA Research Foundation Committee.

  • Eight $75,000 Research support grants will be awarded
  • The grants will be awarded to support research by clinical units within PAH
  • Funding will begin from January 1 2011

  
  Application Process

  • Applications are called from Directors of Clinical Departments in PAH
  • A maximum of one application from each Department will be considered
  • Applications should follow the following format
  1. Title
  2. Investigators
  3. Hypothesis and Aims of project (or projects)
  4. Research methods
  5. Research Outcomes (Anticipated results and analysis methodology etc)
  6. Clinical relevance/significance
  7. Budget, including requested duration of funding and justification.
  • Applications must be 3 A4 pages or less
  • A half to one page CV of the investigator(s) should be appended to the application.

  • Scientific merit
  • Clinical relevance
  • Track record of Investigators
