Queensland University Of Technology

One of the PA Research Foundation's Partners that we raise funds to support on the PA campus is The Queensland University of Technology's - Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI).

IHBI - is a collaborative institute based at QUT who conduct research on the PA Campus.  IHBI is devoted to improving the health of individuals through research innovation. They combine high quality health research with a commitment to social justice. This means that they do more than develop innovative solutions to health issues. They also apply their solutions to real world experiences to make sure that they are effective. Through their work, we seek to improve the health of individuals and of communities.

IHBI's researchers focus on three broad health areas - prevention; mind and body health; and recovery.

Their researchers work to:

  • Bridge the gap between science and better health - by developing solutions to real world problems
  • Advance health and biomedical innovation by developing new and innovative solutions to health issues
  • Make better health a reality in our lifetime - by improving the health of individuals and communities.

IHBI's researchers are clustered into six flexible research domains that emphasise multidisciplinary collaboration.
