The PA Research Foundation raises funds to support PA Hospital researchers. The PA Research Foundation’s funding rationale is to raise real funds for real researchers to discover real outcomes.
The PA Hospital Campus is currently home to over 600 researchers engaged in world class health and medical research with the aim to develop new treatments and therapies to improve the health of the community.
The entire continuum of bench to bedside research is being conducted at PAH campus- from understanding the basis of disease to implementing clinical trials testing new therapies.
The researchers come from the PA Hospital campus, affiliated universities: The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University and the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre.
PAH researchers are conducting research leading to cures, treatment and preventions of some of the world’s most challenging chronic health problems including:

- Diabetes
- Liver Disease
- Immunology
- Heart Disease
- Arthritis
- Transplantation
- Spinal Injury
- Kidney & Renal Disease
