PA research is tacking skin cancer head on PA researchers are exploring the cell mechanisms of skin cancer in order to gain a deeper understanding of why a cell will turn cancerous in the first place. They are targeting defective check points in a cell cycle which let through cancerous cells. By targeting these defective checkpoints the team can then identify when a cell turns cancerous and this will lead to the development of specific treatments to deliver a lethal assault on skin cancer tumours.
