QHA Hotel Care
QHA Hotel Care (formally known as Hotel Care Week) is a working partnership between the Queensland Hotels Association, the PA Research Foundation and the Mater Foundation . The aim of the campaign is to raise much needed funds for medical research and our regional hospitals.
Hotels voluntarily participate in the campaign and fundraising activities are organised by each hotel’s nominated “Hotel Champion”. In past years, hotels have run raffles, car rallies, auctions, golf days, breakfasts and dinners, and themed party nights. It’s designed to be a fun and positive event and the fundraising possibilites are endless! Hotels located in metropolitan areas have 100% of funds raised directed to the PA Research Foundation and the Mater Foundation. Hotels in regional Queensland have 50% of funds raised donated to their local regional hospital and 50% to the Foundations.
