"Volunteers are not paid - not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless"

Volunteers are the lifeblood of many community organisations including the PA Foundation.

For example, Yvonne is a valued volunteer at the PA Foundation and runs the foundation’s booth one day per week. Sometimes she also helps in the office. Yvonne says she enjoys volunteering because she likes getting out of the house and keeping busy and active. Yvonne also likes knowing that she is raising funds for medical research.

"Without medical research, there's no progress."
