Last year, 367 young Australians were diagnosed with melanoma and half of these young Australians were Queenslanders. The goal of School Strokes for Skin Cancer is to raise awareness around melanoma and the importance of sun protection for young Australians while contributing to the Million Metres for Melanoma campaign, which is aiming to raise $250 000.
Each student will fundraise to take part in a rowing challenge and will row on a rowing machine for 1 minute. The school that rows the farthest wins!
