Blokes' Day Out, Saturday 22 April 2017

Eagle Farm Racecourse, proudly supporting Mandate

The PA Research Foundation's annual Men's Health campaign, MANDATE, will be the charity partner of Brisbane Racing Club's inaugural 'Blokes' Day Out' event, which is coming to Eagle Farm Racecourse on Saturday, 22 April.

Brisbane Racing Club will be donating $5 from every general admission ticket sold to MANDATE to support men's health research at the PA Hospital. The campaign also raises awareness around encouraging men to take ownership of their health and make an annual MANDATE with their GP.

Racegoers will also be able to enter to win the exclusive 'Ultimate MANDATE' competition on the day – watch this space for more details on what that might be…

What is happening on the day?

There will be trackside entertainment and attractions on the day including a mechanical bull and surfboard ride, giving competitive punters the chance to test their sporting prowess!

In the Moreton Dining Room, sporting stars including dual-code rugby legend Lote Tuqiri and Broncos greats Justin Hodges, Jharal Yow Yeh and Jack Reed will join cricketing hero and Brisbane Racing Club 2017 Ambassador Lee Carseldine at the Sportsman's Lunch.

All the live racing action will be broadcast on the Eagle Farm trackside super screen, the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere. And as the racing winds down, the NRL Cowboys v Knights game will screen, with the Kentucky Bar providing a prime viewing position.

Main stage entertainment will also take the Blokes' Day Out party into the night.
