Please help mums, wives, sisters, grandmothers and daughters survive breast cancer.

Four times Hege has sat in front of the mirror and seen herself with all her hair gone. She'll tell you that it's not the toughest thing about cancer treatment, or the most important. But it's the one everyone sees.

"You want to look normal. You want to feel normal. You don't want people to look at you and think, 'She's the one with breast cancer'."

For Hege, it's what they think next that worries her most.

"People seem to think that no one ever dies of breast cancer any more. You have an operation, chemo and then you're okay."

But the truth is breast cancer is still a killer.

Many people don't understand that it's a disease with at least sixteen known variations. Some breast cancers respond very well to targeted treatments. Treatments that have been developed through research in the last 5 years. Unfortunately, there are also some, like Hege's, where there is no therapy known to help.

There is no targeted treatment, which means it often comes back. That's why I'm asking for your urgent help.

Please will you send a gift that could help PA researchers make faster progress towards new, urgently needed cancer treatments?

With your help, the new clinical trials that Hege is waiting for could come sooner. And save lives sooner.

Yes, I want to help save the lives of women living with stage 4 breast cancer.
