Ways to Donate

You can choose to support life-saving medical research through a way that is convenient and suitable for you.

Regular Giving – By giving weekly, monthly or quarterly, you will be a part of the next amazing medical discovery. You can provide vital and consistent support for our researchers by making regular donations to the PARF. These regular gifts allow us to commit to continually funding our researchers.

Donations are debited from your nominated credit card, or deducted from your bank account and you can commit to any donation amount or occurrence. Any donation over $2 is tax-deductible and you will receive a tax receipt for each donation. Become a Regular Giver through Credit Card or Direct Debit (please read the Direct Debit Request Service Agreement if choosing to become a regular giver through Direct Debit).

If your circumstances change, you can easily need adjust your gift or place it on hold until further notice.

In Memoriam - Giving in Memory is a wonderful way to acknowledge a loved one. We are very grateful to the families who choose to make or request a gift in memory in lieu of flowers. In Memoriam envelopes can be provided.

These gifts are a heartfelt yet practical way to honour someone and they will help us bring research to life for future generations. This request can also form part of the requirements detailed in a Will.

Leave a Gift in your will - You can help us meet our long term commitment to medical research now and into the future by leaving a bequest and making your Will a legacy for future generations.

Having a Will helps set your mind at rest that you have taken care of your affairs. A Will states who will benefit from your estate and any bequests to charitable organisations such as the PA Research Foundation. When making a Will your first priority is to ensure that your Will reflects the way you want to look after your family and friends.

Bequests can be any gift or donation left in your Will. You can give:

  • cash
  • property
  • shares
  • personal items
  • specified amount
  • percentage of money
  • specific asset from your estate
  • perpetual gift
  • residuary bequest

We are very grateful to those that generously remember us in their Will. After taking care of your loved ones, you can choose to leave a gift for a particular research area or allow us to allocate it where it is needed the most.

Contact your solicitor or the executer of your Will to let them know you would like to include the PA Research Foundation in your will.

As your Will is a legal document it is important to have the correct wording to ensure your intentions are clear. You can use the PA Research Foundation Bequest Wording for your Will or as a Codicil to your Will. Download the PA Research Foundation Codicil.

You can choose to update or write you Will yourself but often it is beneficial to have the services of a solicitor. If you are interested in leaving a gift to us for medical research, we can provide a Free Will Service where we meet the solicitor's fee for preparing your Will.

If you would like to discuss your options or interest in leaving a Bequest to the Foundation, please call us for a confidential chat on 07 3176 2359 or email general@pafoundation.org.au
