57 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day and sadly more than 3,000 people lose their life each year.
There is good news but still much more to be done! Survival rates have increased from 76% in the early 90’s to 92% thanks to research made possible by Aveo and the community’s support.
Time has never been more critical to invest in research to improve survival rates, treatment options and quality of life. You can play a vital role in helping to reduce the number of loved ones we lose each year by making a donation to one of the 90+ Aveo communities who are raising funds for Project Pink this October.
Many research projects don’t receive Government funding which is why the support of Aveo communities over the last seven years has been so valued and impactful. Since 2016, Aveo communities have raised over $1.3 million to help deliver both a healthier future and a better quality of life for countless patients.

Time has ever been more critical
Your support means we can continue our investment into research and patient care initiatives to ensure everyone will one day survive a breast cancer diagnosis and have a better quality of life post treatment.
The funds will be used for:
❤️ research projects to get a better understanding of cancer to find new ways to personalise treatment for individual patients
❤️ improving patient comfort and keeping them connected to loved ones by funding things like entertainment devices, comfy couches, smart TV’s and free high speed wi-fi in treatment areas
Thank you for showing the 20,640 Australians faced with breast cancer every year how much you care.
“Knowing that Associate Professor Simpson and her team are working towards a clinical trial to help women with HER-2 positive breast cancer like me, gives me hope that one day there will be a treatment for my cancer if it came back.”
– Gemma, breast cancer patient
