2025 Stellarossa Project Pink
This year, it's anticipated that over 200 men and 20,400 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in Australia. Sadly, more than 3,000 people stil lose their life as a result of a breast cancer diagnosis each year.
The good news is survival rates have increased from 76% in the early 90’s to 92% thanks to research made possible by Stellarossa and the community’s support. But the job's not done!
With progress being made it has never been more important to continue to invest in research to improve survival rates, treatment options and quality of life. You can play a vital role in helping to reduce the number of loved ones we lose each year to Breast Cancer by making a donation to one of the 22 Stellarossa stores who are raising funds for Project Pink this October.
Many cancer research labs don’t receive Government funding which is why the support of Stellarossa communities over the last eight years has been so valued and impactful. Since 2015, Stellarossa communities have raised over $150,000 to help deliver both a healthier future and a better quality of life for countless patients.
Time has ever been more critical
Your support means we can continue our investment into research and patient care projects to ensure that we can continue to improve on the 92% survival rate and save more lives.
The funds will be used for:
❤️ Breast Cancer research projects by clinicians and researchers at the PA Hospital campus to help find new ways to personalise treatment for each patient.
❤️ improving patient outcomes through patient support projects aimed at helping them live well during and after treatment.
Thank you for showing your fellow Australians faced with Breast Cancer every year how much you care.
“Knowing that Associate Professor Simpson and her team are working towards a clinical trial to help women with HER-2 positive breast cancer like me, gives me hope that one day there will be a treatment for my cancer if it came back.”
– Gemma, breast cancer patient
