About Potential Unlimited
STEPS Program is excited to partner with Outward Bound to deliver the aptly named, Potential Unlimited program for seven aspiring STEPS leaders and members. The custom designed outdoor adventure program sees participants taking part in activities such as canoeing, hiking, abseiling and high ropes courses and team building activities at Outward Bound headquarters in Tharwa, ACT.
The aims of the Potential Unlimited program for participants include enhancing their leadership skills, stretching their capacity to achieve goals in a challenging and supportive outdoor environment and exploring how to transfer these learnings to their work as leaders or long-term participants of the STEPS program. Improvement is specifically sought in the areas of self-confidence, self-esteem, self-reliance, independence, teamwork and acceptance and adjustment to life with a brain injury.
