In a powerful show of community spirit and generosity, Give Big for the PA was an overwhelming success, raising a phenomenal $257,252.50 in just 24 hours.
Thanks to the incredible support of 834 donors, we not only reached our original goal of $150,000, but surged past our bonus target of $250,000, helping to fund vital patient care initiatives, life-saving research, and innovative treatments across the Princess Alexandra Hospital campus. Each donation was doubled by our generous matching partners, meaning every dollar went twice as far in supporting the world-class work happening every day at the PA.
One standout team effort came from ROPART (Radiation Oncology Princess Alexandra Hospital Raymond Terrace), who led the fundraising efforts with an inspiring total of $17,390 from just 48 supporters. Their commitment and passion embody the heart of Give Big for the PA, showing that when we come together, we can truly make a difference.
